Happy Thanksgiving, y'all!
Tom, the idea is worth a bit of dream/planning. I have, as each of us do, situations
regarding health and family that make planning somewhat iffy--but, hey, we can
dream can't we? AND, if some get up there and others do not, that would be a
good thing, also. So, I say--let's put the ideas out there and move forward with
a plan. It could happen!

I'll dream along and see what happens. But after driving all those miles, I would have to make it more than a one day experience even if it is for dinner at HOP.

Oh, yeah, there could be some other things besides just the one meal together. I wish we could do some kind of group tour around Hammond and talk about what "used to be."
It would be fun to do some of the same reminiscing in person that we do here on Sheptalk.

Oh, I just tossed out House of Pizza because it seems to be popular with so many of us here at Sheptalk but it could anywhere as far as I am concerned. That's something we can talk about.

I'LL BE THERE. (Easy for me to say, since I live here in da' Region).
HOUSE o' PIZZA is a great choice, since it's one of the very few privately-owned, family-type
business that's still around--almost 60 YEARS after it opened--and the recipe hasn't changed!
That's about as "old time"-authentic Region as you can get.[^]

I guess you didn't get my Email.
Roger and Ann, Chris and Donna, and Georgeann and I were wondering if we plan one of our Region Rat Reunions for a restaurant in Clarksville, TN, if you could make it.
Clarksville would be about an hour's drive for all of us, I think. It should be a real good "meet in the middle" place and there are lots of restaurants.

I didn't send an Email to everyone because I didn't think people would drive all the way down here. SC lives in Nashville and I was hoping that she would be able to make a Clarksville gathering. This was just going to be a "mini" reunion, not the "big one" I would like to have in the Region sometime.
Hey, if you or ANYONE else can make it down to this part of the country, that would be SUPER. If any of you are going to be just "passing through" the western KY area, let us know.
Anytime Roger, Chris, and I have a get together all Region Rats are welcome if you can make the trip. The more the merrier.

I just checked my email and nothing from you. I have a new email address--at least it is not the original. The correct email addy is registered with Sheptalk.
I appreciate the invite whenever you guys plan another get-together.
Personally, I despise Clarksville, though. I hesitate to blame my age for not being able to find the road signs for U.S. 41.---Last time I had to stop to ask where I was and was told I wasn't the only one who found it puzzling.
Anyway, if you let me know and if I can make it, I will do so.

Ken it would be cool to have you whenever you can make it over here.
Roger and Ann, Chris and Donna, and Georgeann and I live so close to one another that it is very easy for us to get together for a meal once in a while. Anytime we do that, any of you Sheptalk buddies are welcome to join us. We would love to include you but we assumed that we are too far away from the rest of you to make getting together with you in our part of the country practical. You would sure be welcome if you are up for the drive!
I guess we could post our plans and if any of you think you can make it, let us know. As far as I know we will probably being doing something about once or twice a month.
