Zwilling was Shepherd's lawyer, Agins his accountant. They were personal friends but claim they never heard the radio show. I know Gene talked to Zwilling, but perhaps he had nothing that added any insight for the book. Don't know - where's Gene??
Gene B. here. I had several short email correspondences with Mr. Zwilling. I'd ask him something and his responses were always very short, polite, though sometimes uninformed about Shepherd's work. My then-editor finally got an appointment for the two of us to interview Mr. Zwilling. When we showed up to meet him in his Manhattan office, we were told he'd forgotten our appointment and was in Connecticut. I will say no more.
