Anyone know the going rate of a copy of this tomb? Can it be found on eBay?
Is it worth having, from what Shep says it is not a good read.

The copy I have had in my library for 49 years -- the paperback with the now-yellowing pages -- was purchased for 35 cents.

There are always copies of I, LIBERTINE for sale on www.abebooks.com a site that claims about 30 thousand bookdealers. Note that there are two first editions: Ballantine paperback and Ballantine hardcover, both published in New York City. Also for sale is the English publisher's edition. Sometimes one finds the Ballantine paperback for under fifty dollars, but fifty is a good price for it. The Ballantine hardcover goes for several hundred dollars usually, as there were very few printed. I got lucky recently and bought one from an abebooks dealer for one hundred. My paperback is so brown and brittle that it's just about impossible to read--for the darkness of the paper and because I fear the pages will crumple. The hardcover has nice white pages and is sewn in signatures.-- Gene Bergmann

I forgot to mention: type in Ewing as the author.

NEWS FLASH!
There are 3 less expensive copies for sale (around $20 each) at:

Also at AddAll.com, search for "I, Libertine" with Ewing as the Author, and you'll find several more copies. The cheapest, alas, is $69.67 ... at a bookstore in Australia!

There are several copies for sale right now ($75 and up)at

http://www.addall.com/Used/

which is the best search engine for used books in English that I know of.

Just be sure to put Shepherd in the Author field, to narrow down the search and avoid similar-titled works.

It can be found on eBay every so often. One just sold a week ago.
