Ya'know MikeHz....Since Ted Turner is a Shep fanatic, (airs the Christmas Story all day,) why not write Ted Turner a note asking he air it and other Shep films ??

I've been trying to get Netflix to carry this movie. I don't know WHY it won't be released, since it's rated "A" by viewers on Yahoo, and A Christmas Story is a favorite movie by millions.

If it ever comes out on video, I'll get it at once.

Jim is correct, I did obtain a copy from some time back.
BTW, after my wife and I saw the film, she made me go out and buy her a "concrete lawn dwarf" as mentioned in this story by Shep...
Since then, we have tried to acquire some of the smaller things mentioned by shep, (like the Red Ryder Daisy 200 shot repeater BB gun which will shoot your eye out-kid!)LMAO.....

I don't know if it will be aired any time soon.
It was available on VHS but is currently out of print. Check the links here to Movies Unlimited and Amazon:

Sometimes they get more in stock or offer used copies.
